    ACT UP New York, the AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power, is a diverse non-partisan group of individuals united in anger and committed to direct action to end the AIDS crisis.

  • Action on Disability and Development International (ADD)

    Action on Disability and Development International (ADD) works with local partners, disability rights organisations, governments and academic institutions to promote the inclusion, empowerment and positive change for disabled people.

  • Alliance for Global Justice (AFGJ)

    It is the mission of the Alliance for Global Justice to achieve social change and economic justice by helping to build a stronger more unified grassroots movement. The Alliance recognizes that the concentration of wealth and power is the root cause of oppression requiring us to work together across ideologies, issues and communities. The Alliance nurtures organizations seeking fundamental change in international and national conditions that disempower people, create disparities in access to wealth and power, poison the earth, and plunder its resources.

  • American Bar Association (ABA) Center for Human Rights

    The Center for Human Rights addresses critical human rights issues, developing policy, projects, and educational initiatives to advance human rights both nationally and internationally. The Center seeks to develop educational programs in the field of human rights; promote a greater understanding of and belief in the importance of human rights; collaborate with other ABA entities in the development and encouragement of human rights efforts, activities and programs; and assist in the development of appropriate ABA polices on human rights issues.

  • American Kurdish Information Network (AKIN)

    The American Kurdish Information Network (AKIN) aim is to increase awareness about the Kurds. AKIN collects, translates, and disseminates information about the Kurds. It hopes to become a valuable resource center for policy makers, scholars, and students of the region. At the same time, it seeks to promote understanding between the Kurds and the Americans. In Kurdistan, AKIN wants the killings to stop, peace to prevail, and the will of the people to be respected and accepted.

  • Amnesty International (AI)

    Amnesty’s mission is to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end grave abuses of human rights and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated.
