  • Amazon Watch

    Amazon Watch is a nonprofit organization founded in 1996 to protect the rainforest and advance the rights of indigenous peoples in the Amazon Basin. We partner with indigenous and environmental organizations in campaigns for human rights, corporate accountability and the preservation of the Amazon’s ecological systems.

  • Andalus Institute for Tolerance and Anti-Violence Studies

    Andalus Institute for Tolerance and Anti-violence Studies (AITAS) is an independent research institution established in 2004. AITAS works in Egypt and the MENA region to strengthen the values of tolerance and eliminate all forms of discrimination. AITAS is inspired by the “Declaration of Principles on Tolerance.” They want to fight cultural, racial, sexual, political and religious intolerance and violence caused by ignorance and oppression of the basic human rights in Egyptian society. They aim to do this through advocacy and legal aid, elections and democratic movements, human rights education, media monitoring, and alternative media programs.

  • Andean Information Network (AIN)

    The AIN promotes human rights and socioeconomic justice in Bolivia and more humane and effective illicit drug control policies. AIN provides information and analysis to NGO colleagues, the media and international policymakers on developments in Bolivia and the impact of U.S. government and European policies. Working closely with civil society organizations in Latin America and in the United States, AIN promotes policy dialogue and the development of pragmatic alternatives that address the underlying economic, social, political and cultural needs of Bolivia.

  • Arab Institute for Human Rights (AIHR)

    The Arab Institute for Human Rights is an independent Arab non-governmental organization based in Tunisia.The Arab Institute for Human Rights aims to promote a culture of civil, political, economic, social and cultural human rights, as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and international conventions, and to strengthen the values of democracy and citizenship.They seek to do this through training, education, research, utilizing media resources, strengthening civil society, providing expertise, facilitating the exchange of information, and promoting the culture of women’s and children’s rights.

  • Asian Centre for Human Rights (ACHR)

    The Asian Centre for Human Rights is dedicated to the promotion and protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the Asian region.

  • Asociación Civil por la Igualdad y la Justicia (ACIJ)

    La Asociación Civil por la Igualdad y la Justicia (ACIJ) es una organización apartidaria, sin fines de lucro dedicada a la defensa de los derechos de los grupos más desfavorecidos de la sociedad y el fortalecimiento de la democracia en Argentina. Tiene por objetivos defender la efectiva vigencia de la Constitución Nacional y los principios del estado de derecho, promover el cumplimiento de las leyes que protegen a los grupos desaventajados y la erradicación de toda práctica discriminatoria, asi como también contribuir al desarrollo de prácticas participativas y deliberativas de la democracia.

  • Asociación Interétnica de Desarrollo de la Selva Peruana

    Somos la organización vocera de los pueblos indígenas de la Amazonía peruana, cuya misión es la de trabajar en la defensa y respeto de los derechos colectivos, exponer su problemática y presentar las propuestas alternativas de desarrollo que plantean según su cosmovisión y/o estilo de vida.

  • Asociación para el desarrollo de El Salvador

    Promover y consolidar la organización, la formación y movilización de la población, estimulando y potenciando el involucramiento ciudadano de mujeres, hombres y jóvenes en organizaciones comunales en gobiernos locales y en otras estructuras de decisión, de manera de contribuir a las transformaciones democráticas, sociales, políticas, económicas y culturales de El Salvador.
