The goal of the Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre (FWCC) program is to work towards the elimination of violence against women in Fiji and the Pacific region. This goal reflects FWCC’s long-term organisational mission. It is closely aligned with the organisational and project objectives of Pacific regional network members and with international advocacy efforts. It reflects the language used by other key international actors working together to address violence against women (VAW). FWCC as Secretariat of the Pacific Women’s Network on Violence Against Women conducts regional training twice a year for women and men working in the area of violence against women and children – from providing counselling support, carrying out lobbying and advocacy and awareness in the communities on these issues.
