Hammurabi Human Rights Organisation (HHRO) is concerned with the protection of human rights in all fields. Its activities include monitoring human rights violations and publishing them including via its annual report. HHRO monitors the Iraqi Government and all legislation on the basis of the Iraqi Constitution and international treaties to which Iraqi is a party to ensure conformity to each. It works to educate Iraqi society on the important of human rights particularly for the most vulnerable and members of Iraq’s minority groups. HHRO provides direct humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable in the form of food, medicine, clothing, emergency housing and legal and professional counselling.
