The Highlands Women Human Rights Defenders Movement (HWHRDM) is an umbrella organisation for different grassroots and community-based organisations working to defend human rights in the seven Highlands provinces of Enga, Hela, Jiwaka, Simbu, Eastern Highlands Province, Western Highlands Province and Southern Highlands Province (highlighted in red on the map) of Papua New Guinea. The HWHRDM aims to promote peace building, end tribal warfare and eliminate gender-based violence in communities of the Highlands.
