    ABColombia’s purpose is to influence decision makers in the UK and Ireland and, through them, European level decision making with a view to resolving the human rights and humanitarian crisis in Colombia and achieve a lasting peace and equitable and sustainable development.

  • Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission (AIHRC)

    The Afghanistan Independent Human Rights Commission works to educate and empower people on human rights issues and to continue to support all individuals to understand, realize and exercise their rights.

  • African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR)

    The African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (ACHPR) is a quasi-judicial body tasked with promoting and protecting human rights throughout Africa. In addition to performing any other tasks which may be entrusted to it by the Assembly of Heads of State and Government, the Commission is officially charged with three major functions: the protection of human and peoples’ rights, the promotion of human and peoples’ rights, and the interpretation of the African Charter on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

  • Alliance for Global Justice (AFGJ)

    It is the mission of the Alliance for Global Justice to achieve social change and economic justice by helping to build a stronger more unified grassroots movement. The Alliance recognizes that the concentration of wealth and power is the root cause of oppression requiring us to work together across ideologies, issues and communities. The Alliance nurtures organizations seeking fundamental change in international and national conditions that disempower people, create disparities in access to wealth and power, poison the earth, and plunder its resources.

  • American Bar Association (ABA) Center for Human Rights

    The Center for Human Rights addresses critical human rights issues, developing policy, projects, and educational initiatives to advance human rights both nationally and internationally. The Center seeks to develop educational programs in the field of human rights; promote a greater understanding of and belief in the importance of human rights; collaborate with other ABA entities in the development and encouragement of human rights efforts, activities and programs; and assist in the development of appropriate ABA polices on human rights issues.

  • Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain (ADHRB)

    Americans for Democracy & Human Rights in Bahrain (ADHRB) fosters awareness of and support for democracy and human rights in Bahrain and the Middle East.

  • Amnesty International (AI)

    Amnesty’s mission is to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end grave abuses of human rights and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated.

  • Andalus Institute for Tolerance and Anti-Violence Studies

    Andalus Institute for Tolerance and Anti-violence Studies (AITAS) is an independent research institution established in 2004. AITAS works in Egypt and the MENA region to strengthen the values of tolerance and eliminate all forms of discrimination. AITAS is inspired by the “Declaration of Principles on Tolerance.” They want to fight cultural, racial, sexual, political and religious intolerance and violence caused by ignorance and oppression of the basic human rights in Egyptian society. They aim to do this through advocacy and legal aid, elections and democratic movements, human rights education, media monitoring, and alternative media programs.
