Over the last two years, and with support from Making All Voices Count, Tactical Tech has been researching how marginalised technology users in Kenya and South Africa negotiate visibility and anonymity through mobile phones, popular social media, and messaging applications. Whilst the guide was made with oil field communities in Nigeria in mind, the layout, advice and procedures will lend themselves well to any community seeking to protect their environment and health through effective monitoring and reporting.
