The Manual “Understanding Human Rights” is envisioned as a tool for assisting learners and educators in Human Security Network partner countries and beyond in their human rights education and learning efforts in various cultural settings as a strategy for enhancing human security. As designed, it could be a helpful starting point for understanding human rights and human wrongs, for training future trainers and for opening a discussion forum for inter-cultural exchange and awareness.
